How do people do these fancy styles on these little tiny heads. Heads that, I might add, don't stop moving the whole time you are trying to work. Add to that the screaming as if I am tearing her hair out and I think I have a lot to learn. But between the screaming and wiggling and my total cluelessness- I think it turned out kind of cute

Coming soon (maybe tomorrow???) Photos from Halloween.
Yeah Yeah- better late than never

TOTALLY CUTE! I think you did an awesome job on the hair. She seems to like it too!
You did a good job for your first try next time it will be easier. The wiggles and screams will continue just go with it.
She just melts my heart and you did a great job.
Some hints from my house:
I do Astrid Meklit's hair in the highchair, with food or art suplies to distract her.
I use lots of conditioner to make tangles less unpleasant
When she was little, I did something to her hair every day so that she would get used to the process. Now I twist and braid once a week, and just do some upkeep during the week. The twists are super-easy to retwist once the parts are done, so we can do her hair in 5-10 minutes each day, if I spend 30-45 minutes once a week to get everything in the right position.
Hope to see you soon!
