I was going to call this post

"A whole bunch of stuff all at once so that I don't feel guilty I haven't had time to update the blog right after these events happened"
but instead I think I'll just call it

Fall Fun

X is searching for the perfect apple.

A gets a boost into the tree from B and tries to hide from the camera

I don't care if it is a big as my head- I can too eat this apple!

D takes a journey into the pumpkin field.

Yet another attempt at a group photo. B had to hold K since she wasn't in her "photo happy place" (in other words she was screaming bloody murder about something)

Scooping out the pumpkin guts

Love the expression on her face

The finished products on Beggar's night

And finally- the answer to that question asked since time began.
"So what'cha you gonna be for Halloween?"

Luke Skywalker (with the right color light saber this year- apparently I purchased the "bad guy" color last time- they should really make that clear on the packaging)

Making a return engagement for the second year in a row- a "meow meow" (should I be worried that the costume still might fit again next year too?)

My personal favorite costume of all time (that D wore 2 years ago)- the Elephant. (and I am saving it on the very very very small chance there will be another toddler here to wear it because yes it is THAT cute)

And once again the biggest debate about choosing a costume award goes to Buzz Lightyear who won a narrow victory over Bakugan. I was personally so glad he didn't chose Bakugan that I happily purchased the gloves and wings (both sold separately of course)

A halfway decent group photo (the threat of missing trick or treat is surprisingly motivating)

Candy here I come!!!!!!!!!!!

I think I'm getting the hang of this now

Yeah that's my candy.

Who needs dinner when you have a stash of candy

Waving goodbye to Mommy who actually had to give a midterm that night (sorry again to any of my students who might be reading this)
