Last night D woke up around 11:00 crying. One of her surgery sites had begun to bleed so by 11:20 we were at the ER. Luckily the ENT called ahead that we were on our way and we got right in- I never even sat down in the waiting room. By 12:30 they were wheeling her back to the OR to cauterize the spot. Of course, that got her admitted for the night so she and I spent last night t the hospital. As always, everyone was wonderful and they take good care of her there. And now we are back home and she is actually a little calmer than she was but still it is a struggle to get her to rest like she should be. Apparently it is common for bleeds to occur around day 5-10 post op but unusual for them to be this early- hopefully we won't have a repeat in a couple of days or back to the ER we will have to go again
This morning watching SpongeBob Squarepants (you can't be choosy in situations like this)

They have room service so we tried to eat some non-frozen flavored water type food
