I am slammed at work. The next person who tells me how easy teachers have it and how their work day ends at 3 is going to get a textbook placed in a unmentionable location. Last week I left work on Monday at 5:00, Tuesday at 4:45, Wednesday at 3:45 (on time, but only because the girls have a gymnastics class at 4:30), Thursday at 7:45 and Friday at 5:30. (Then I started on the work I brought home) This week so far- Monday 5:30, Tuesday 8:20 and so it goes on.
However, I am hoping this weekend to get caught up on things so please hang with us for a few more days and hopefully we will be back in business.

Oh, but teachers DO have it easy... Never having to worry about finding ways to fill those empty hours in the day, never having to worry about being bored, Never having to worry about having no assigned tasks at work, never having to worry about a lack of reading material at night, never having to worry about a lack of supervision... Aah, nirvana! :-)
(Please don't shoot me; Mom is a retired public school English teacher, I remember her pain all too well! I've always thought any society that pays millions to a guy who's good at chasing a ball with a stick but constantly squeezes the budget and adds to the workload of teachers isn't exactly a model for the ages... Hang in there, some of us DO appreciate you!
No worries about shooting you- I knew exactly where you were coming from. And thanks for your comment- it made me laugh. Now if you will excuse me I have to finish printing off my newsletter which I am printing on my own paper with my own ink........
