One of my children who shall remain unnamed in this post made coupon books at school for Mother's Day and Father's Day (I am actually a little in awe of a teacher so organized as to complete a Father's Day task before school let out 3 weeks ago)
Here are the coupons we both got from said child:
Mother's Day Coupon #1 This Coupon is good to "Play Outside"
Father's Day Coupon #1 This Coupon is good for "Breakfast in Bed"
Mother's Day Coupon #2 This Coupon is good to "Not Play on the Computer"
Father's Day Coupon #2 This Coupon is good for "Taking out the trash"
Mother's Day Coupon #3 This Coupon is good to "Take Care of My Bunny"
Father's Day Coupon #3 This Coupon is good for "a Big Hug"
Mother's Day Coupon #4 This Coupon is good to "Help Clean"
Father's Day Coupon #4 This Coupon is good for "Sleeping In"
Mother's Day Coupon #5 This Coupon is good to "Not Fight with Sibling"
Father's Day Coupon #5 This Coupon is good for "Homemade Cookies"
Father's Day Coupon #6 This Coupon is good for "Yard Work"
Father's Day Coupon #7 This Coupon is good for "A Car Wash"
although I do have to say that the Father's Day Coupons were pre-printed while the Mother's Day coupons required said child to fill in the blank with what they thought I would want for Mother's Day. (although I couldn't help but notice I got a coupon I could redeem for the child to do a job that was ALREADY their responsibility)
But still, just once, I want the Sleep In coupon
