Yet another "what are we talking about exactly" conversation:
K- "I really liked that miracle"
Me- "Um, ok, What miracle?"
K- "You know, the miracle with the princess and the donkey"
Me "You mean Shrek?"
K- "Yea- that's it!"
Me- "It's a musical, not a miracle"

Based on Arthur C. Clarke's statement that a sufficiently advanced technology will be indistinguishable from magic, and the idea that when my parents were K's age movies were black & white images with a monoraul soundtrack... Well, most current films (especially those that are animated and/or laden with special effects) could actually be considered magical... perhaps even miraculous...? :-)
